Harold Marvin Lewis, age 78, passed away April 7, 2011 in Arcadia, FL. Harold was born in Washington, DC February 3, 1933. He moved to Arcadia 14 years ago from West Palm Beach, FL. Harold was a stone mason and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He played fast pitch softball and football in his younger day and was an avid sports fan. He always look forward to watching his favorite professional team, the Washington Redskins, but most enjoyed participating and /or watching any sporting event his sons grandsons were involved in. Lou spent a lot of time volunteering with the DCYAA program during the 90 s and Bulldog ball in early 2000. He enjoyed his work and spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold is survived by his two sons; Hal (Jan) Lewis, Arcadia, FL and Alan (Donna) Lewis, West Palm Beach, FL, and his daughter Dawn Lewis Begley, Arcadia, FL, five grandchildren; Carolyn (Matt) Driskell, Wauchula, FL, Cassie (Ben) Baird, Crestview, FL, Chris (Julia) Lewis, Plant City, FL, Kristen (Dave) Prince, New York, Craig Lewis, West Palm Beach, FL, three great grandchildren; Kyle Lewis, Ethan Lewis, and Michael Prince. Harold is preceded in death by his parents; Harold and Hilda Lewis, and a sister Evelyn Lewis.
