Carol Sue Clanton age 61 of Wauchula passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Sebring. She was born March 31, 1951 in Wauchula and was a life long resident. Carol worked as a Clerk at the Circle K on East Main Street in Wauchula and enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Clanton, Jr. Carol is survived by her mother Loretta Hurst Clanton of Wauchula, one brother Thomas Clanton wife Debbie of Avon Park; one sister Patricia Crews husband Berry of Arcadia and two nephews Joshua Clanton and Chris Crews. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm 7:00pm, Sunday, April 29, 2012 in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 404 W Palmetto Street in Wauchula. Services will be at 3:00pm Monday, April 30, 2012 in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Spotz officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
