Mary Sena Martin, age 66, of Zolfo Springs, FL, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at her home. Mary was born April 22, 1946 in Bentonia, Miss. She moved to Zolfo springs 12 years ago from Sebring, FL. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Josephine First Baptist Church, Sebring, FL. She loved being Grandmother and Great Grandmother to her four grandchildren and one great grandson. She was very active in her church, working with the children in Sunday school. Mary was an avid arts and crafts person. She enjoyed going to Arts and Crafts festivals and yards sales. Mary is survived by her beloved husband Rev. William Anthony Tony Martin, Zolfo Springs, FL, one son, David Nathaniel Martin, St. Petersburg, FL, daughter, April Denise Hunt, Sebring, FL, five brothers, Lewis Cain, Bentonia, Miss, James Cain and Ralph Cain both of Texas,William Foster, and Victor Cain both of Vicksburg, Miss. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Nellie Cochran Cain, a daughter, Angela Ann Martin, a sister, Sarah Van Tiden and two brothers, Robert and Sam Cain. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Thursday, November 8, 2012 from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 404 W. Palmetto St., Wauchula, FL. Graveside funeral services will conducted at 2:00PM, Friday, November 9, 2012 at the, Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
