Mildred M. Bush age 83 of Bowling Green passed away July 13, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. She was born December 24, 1928 in Borden Springs, Alabama and move to Hardee County sixty-two years ago coming from Missouri. She attended the Church of God and enjoyed flowers and gardening, Mildred also had owned two businesses Millie s Caf in Bowling Green and Burn s Variety Store in Zolfo Springs. She had worked at the Hardee County Library. Mildred was preceded in death by one daughter Joyce A. Hensley; her parents William Washington & Vennie Estella Lorren Forrister; one sister and eight brothers. She is survived by three sons James F. Hensley and wife Kim of Bowling Green, Jerry D. Hensley and wife Julaine of Wauchula, Danny E. Hensley and wife Yvonne of Zolfo Springs; one brother Johnny Forrister and wife Louise of Barstow, TX; two sisters Gertrude Smith of Zolfo Springs, Estelle Salmon and husband Alvin of Memphis, TN; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; seventeen nieces; and eighteen nephews. Visitation was held from 10:00am-11:00am Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Florida s First Assembly of God, 1397 South Florida Ave in Wauchula. Services followed the Visitation at 11:00am in Florida s Frist with Rev. Jeff Fowler officiating. Burial followed in Bowling Green Cemetery.
