Frieda Louise Lanier age 92 of Wauchula passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Hardee Manor. She was born June 17, 1921 in Zolfo Springs and was a lifelong resident of Hardee County. Frieda worked at Walker Memorial Hospital in Avon Parker as a Ward Clerk for 28 years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Avon Park and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and craft making. Frieda is survived by one daughter Glenda Smith of Wauchula; one granddaughter Amy Waters and husband Travis of Wauchula and four great-grandchildren Travis II, Makayla, Hunter, and Lexi. Services will be held 10:00 am Friday, September 20, 2013 Graveside at Friendship Cemetery with Pastor Joshua S. Goodwin of Maranatha Baptist Church officiating.
