Sallie Lara Aleman age 63 of Wauchula passed away Friday, September 20, 2013. She was born on June 3, 1950 in Bolivar County, MS. and has lived in Hardee County for many years. She is survived by one son Melton Aleman of Wauchula; three daughters Leticia Letty Aleman of Wauchula, Leo Luna of Wauchula and Regina Flores of Texas; one son-in-law, Ponci Rios of Wauchula; three brothers Luciano and Alicia Lara of Bowling Green, Samuel and Mae Lara of Alabama and Phillip and Oren Lara of Mississippi; four sisters Janie and Martin Sanchez of Texas, Mary Thompson Lara of Wauchula, Pricilliana Lara of Wauchula and Angelina Huerta of California; six grandchildren, Melissa and Janelle Zambrano, Marcelino and Jaylee Rios, Rogelio Luna and Melanie Aleman. Services will be 3:00pm Sunday, September 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home located at 404 W Palmetto Street in Wauchula with Pastor Josh Goodwin of Maranatha Baptist Church officiating.
