Wilma Elizabeth Coleman went to be with our Lord God on October 4, 2015. She wants everyone who loved her to know she has gone to a better place where there is no more pain and no more sorrow. She is trusting in God to comfort all whom shew loved and who loved her. Wilma has temporarily left us, but God will provide for us whom she loved until we join her in Heaven. What a great reunion day that will be when we are all gathered together again with Wilma. Wilma was a homemaker. She was born in Fort Green, FL. on October 16, 1925. She came to Wauchula from Adger, AL. in 1963. She was a member of The First Christian Church, Wauchula but, attended The First Baptist Church of Wauchula. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Wauchula #42. She is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Coleman; Parents William and Jennie Albritton Chancey; Brother Horace Hansford Chancey. Wilma is survived by her family Harriett Rowand and Lee Rowand of Lakeland, Edith Putnel and husband Waye of Ft. Meade, Kenya Crosby of Lakeland, Michael Crosby of Oralndo; very good friends that became her family, Tommy and Patsy Bostic, Mark Bostic, Tim and Laura Wells all of Wauhcula, Warren and Amy Cross of Hawkensville, GA, and many others. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 10:00 am - 11:00am at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home with services beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Wauchula City Cemetery with Pastor Joey Taylor officiating. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33881.
