William Edward Irby, age 70, passed away Thursday, February 07, 2013 in Tampa, FL. He was born April 21, 1942 in Bartow and moved to Wauchula with his family as a young boy. He was of the Protestant faith. William spent his working career in the medical field as a registered nurse and worked at various hospitals and nursing home facilities in the Central Florida area. William was a veteran and served our country in the United States Air Force. He is survived by two brothers, Victor W. (Glenda) Irby of Wauchula, FL. and Thomas L. (Virginia) Irby or Zolfo Springs, FL. and several nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents Marion E. and Loyce Williams Irby Whidden.
