Alton E. Albritton age 73 of Bowling Green passed away March 13, 2012 in Lakeland, FL. He was born August 17, 1938 in Loughman, FL he was a life long resident of Hardee County. Alton was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1487 in Wauchula. He enjoyed working on cars, piloting his own plane, golfing, fishing, rebuilding tractors, and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred & Bertha Dotson Albritton. Alton is survived by his beloved wife Sharon Albritton of Bowling Green; two sons Alfred (Rose) Albritton of Bartow, Michael Albritton of Lakeland; two daughters Berniece (Jim) Murphy of Zolfo Springs, Cynthia (Chuck) Gadd of Bartow; two sisters Marcel (John) VanDorm of Lakeland, Lola Mae Williams; four grandchildren Jerod, Hunter, Elyssa, and Sean. Visitation was held from 1pm -2pm, Saturday, March 17, 2012 with Memorial Services at 2pm in the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 404 W Palmetto St with Pastor Steve McGaughey officiating. Military Honors were rendered by Hardee County Veteran s Honor Guard.
