King "KD" David Hill, age 84, passed away Wednesday evening at his home in Wauchula. He was born in Mullins, S.C. and moved to Wauchula over 50 years ago. He was of the Pentecostal faith. King was a wonderful and very loving father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. King enjoyed fishing, which he won several trophies for, going to flea markets and playing games at the local casinos with his sons. He is survived by three sons; Billy (Janice) Hill and James D.(Maria) Hill both of Wauchula, FL. and Frankie (Melanie) Hill of Fort Meade, FL.; three daughters Catherine (James) Dotts of Eaton Rapids, MI, Susan Pritchard of Benton Harbor, MI and Tammy Jo Ellis of Perry, MI, three sister, forty one grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. King was preceded in death by two sons Terry L. Hill and Richard L. Hill, parents Coy and Gertie Antwain Hill, two brothers and two sisters. A visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 404 W. Palmetto St., Wauchula. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1:00PM at the chapel with Pastor Scott Waldron officiating. Burial will follow at Wauchula City Cemetery.
