Neva Agnes Atchley Grimes age 77 of Wauchula passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was born October 07, 1934 in Elba, Alabama and moved to Wauchula 59 years ago from Alabama. Agnes enjoyed spending time with her family & friends she also enjoyed working, and was a Hardee County Bus Driver. She was preceded in death by her parents Worley & Bessie Brooks Atchley, her beloved husband Grady Grimes, and three brothers Earl, Paul and Gene Atchley. Agnes is survived by two sons Randall (Sharon) Grimes of Sebring, H.W. Dub (P.A.) Grimes of Ft Ogden,; one daughter Anita (John) Keene of Bowling Green; four brothers Kenneth Atchley of Okeechobee, Kermit Atchley of Ft Meade , Jackie Atchley of Okahumpka, Billy Atchley of Gainesville, GA; four sisters Louise Wilson of Montgomery, AL, Elsie Nelson, Sara Kennedy ,Joyce Ryan all of Enterprise, AL; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildern; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:00am 11:00am, Saturday, February 18, 2012 with the Service starting at 11:00am in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 404 West Palmetto Street in Wauchula with Pastor Steve McGaughey officiating.
