John Arthur Keene 65 of Bowling Green passed away Sunday, March 04, 2012 He was a life long resident of Hardee County born September 13, 1946 in Wauchula. John was a true Florida Cowboy who loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur June & Beadie Albritton Keene. John is survived by his beloved wife Anita Grimes Keene of Bowling Green, four Sons John Marshell (Angie) Keene of Lakeland, Daniel Shayne Keene of Wauchula, Bradley Kenneth (Kristian) Keene of Bowling Green, Russell Jay Keen of Baufort, SC; one Daughter Dawn Lynn (Antony) Black of Millen, GA; one sister Judy (Marvin) Johnson of Wauchula,FL and four Grandchildren Karson, Tom, Libby, and Kelcey Grace. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am Thursday, March 08, 2012 in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 404 W Palmetto Street. Service will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Steve McGaughey officiating. Burial will follow in Paynes Creek Cemetery.
