David A. Avard age 51 of Indian Lake Estates passed away February 11, 2013 at Sommers Hospice House in Sebring. He was born May 4, 1961 in Fayetteville, NC and lived most of his life in Polk County. David was a member of Shady Hammock Baptist Church in Lake Kissimmee. He loved to fish and spending time with his family. David is survived by his one son David Avard Jr of Indian Lake Estates; one daughter Danielle N. Avard of Indian Lake Estates; his father Duane of Indian Lake Estates; mother Linda of Fayetteville, NC; one sister Denise Weir and husband Douglas of New Zealand; six grandchildren and one nephew. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, February 15, 2013 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home located at 404 West Palmetto Street in Wauchula. Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home with Brother Brian Dickey and Travis Kimbril.
