Hank Edward Tyson, age 49, Arcadia, Fl., passed away Aug. 22, 2008 in Arcadia. Hank was born in Arcadia Jan. 1, 1959 and was a lifelong resident. He was a concrete finisher, helping to carry on the Tyson Concrete Business. a family owned and operated business here in Arcadia. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed out of doors activities, fishing, camping, and golfing.. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are his son Kevin Tyson, Arcadia, brothers, Mike (Carol) Tyson and Frank Tyson both of Arcadia, step brothers, George (Bonnie) Beard, Arcadia, Butch (Donna) Beard, Bradenton, Fl., Donald (Linda) Beard, Ocala, Wayne Beard, and Ronnie Beard, both of Arcadia, Fl. Sisters, Jeanne Thomas, Lois Tyson, and step sister, Diane Tyson, all of Arcadia, Fl., and a sister-in-law, Willene Tyson, Arcadia, Fl. Several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6PM til 8PM Monday evening, Aug. 25, 2008 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral chapel, 50 N Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Fl. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, Aug., 26, 2008 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel with Pastor Peter E. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia, Fl. DeSoto Co.
