Grady Hand, Jr. age 83 passed away on November 7, 2024. He was born on June 7, 1941, in Tupelo, Mississippi to Samuel Grady Hand and Mary Gussie Hand. He had lived in Arcadia since 1964.

Grady was a farmer and mechanic and retired from the Turner Cattle Company.

He was a member of the Central Missionary Baptist Church.

He enjoyed gardening, fixing equipment, fishing, and his church. He will be remembered as a hardworking, kind and loving man who was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary "Mae" Francis Hall Hand and son Grady Lynn Hand.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Dean (Brenda) Hand and Daniel Andrew (Brandy) Hand all of Arcadia, Florida. Also, his brothers and sisters, Ruth Rogers of Nettleton, MS, Annie Ricks (Glen) of Nettleton, MS, Gene and Nell Hand of Carolina Community, MS, Wilber and Esther Hand of Arcadia, FL, and Marilyn Hankins of San Antonio, TX.

Grady also had 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who will miss him.
