Grace Lee Williams, age 84, of Arcadia, Florida passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, in Arcadia.  Grace was born December 16, 1937, in Arcadia, Florida to the late Thad and Irene Brantley Williams and was a graduate of DeSoto County High School.  She was a Surgical Nurse, starting her nursing career in what was known as Arcadia General Hospital and later working at hospitals in Tampa, Punta Gorda, and Tennessee.  Grace was a supporter of the Fort Ogden Volunteer Fire Department and loved children, nature, agriculture, animals and she had a heart for the elderly.  She was a very kind and generous person.

Grace is survived by one brother-in-law, Raymond Hines of Nocatee, Florida; one sister-in-law, Margie Williams of Arcadia, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Thad and Irene Williams; one brother, David Williams; two sisters, Eloise Childers and Pauline Hines; and best friend Jessie Pierce.

Grace was of the Christian faith and attended the Arcadia First Church of the Nazarene.  Visitation will be conducted from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Arcadia First Church of the Nazarene, 132 W. Gibson Street, Arcadia, Florida.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Ft. Ogden Cemetery.
