Grace A. Taylor, age 86, passed away Friday evening, Aug. 8, 2008 in Arcadia, Fl. Grace was born in Fort Meade, Fl. Jan. 4, 1922 and lived in Arcadia since 1966, moving here from Myakka City, Fl. After graduating high school, Grace obtained her C.N.A license and devoted 20+ years working in the medical field at G. Pierce Woods Hospital, was a Pink Lady for Desoto Memorial Hospital, and she was also a member of the VFW. Grace loved her Country music and spending time gardening in the yard. What her family and friends remember most is her very loving, giving and thoughtful personality. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the North Hillsborough Baptist church. Survivors include two sons, Earl W. Taylor, Sarasota, Fl. and David Larry Taylor of Arcadia. Two sisters, Mildred Carlton, Duette, Fl and Maggie Timmons of Wauchula. Two brothers, Richard Walker, Manatee and Marvin Walker, Wauchula, Fl. Three grand children, Ranie Brothers, Michelle Harvard and Derek Taylor. Three great grand children, Dharma, Caitlyn and Layna. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leffie T. Taylor and two sons Luther Jerald Taylor and David L. Taylor. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008 at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Fl. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday Aug. 13, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, with Pastor s Thomas Simmons and Larry Albritton officiating.
