Gordon Hay, 92, of Arcadia, Florida passed away peacefully in his home on January 15, 2026. Born in Nocatee, Florida on November 24, 1933, to the late Marion William and Patha Albritton Hay. Mr. Gordon loved fishing, hunting, airboats, singing, going to the beach, raising cattle, and spending time outdoors. Whether working the land or enjoying the water, he found peace in nature and joy in simple moments. He was truly a family man, deeply devoted to those he loved and always willing to lend a helping hand. He proudly served his country for 10 years in the National Guard, a reflection of his strong sense of duty and commitment. He shared 50 beautiful years of his life with his wife Irma Martinez Hay, building a life rooted in love, faith, hard work, and cherished memories.
He is survived by his wife: Irma Hay; sons: Gordon "Rocky" Hay Jr. (Juanita) and Tony Rowan (Sherry), along with Eight grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren and many extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Sevon Baker, Five brothers, Four sisters and granddaughter; Jessica Lynn Rowan.
A funeral service for Mr. Gordon will be Saturday January 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Ogden Baptist Church with a visitation starting at 9:00 AM, and Interment immediately to follow at the Ft. Ogden Cemetery.
