Gladys Lauretta
Albritton
November 2, 1939 – July 1, 2024
Gladys Lauretta Cline Albritton, was born on November 2, 1939, in Arcadia, Florida, to the late James Elmer Cline and Edna Marie Paulison Cline. She passed away on July 1, 2024, just109 days after her husband, Sidney Albritton.
She was a good dancer, loved Elvis and sang in the choir. She will be remembered as fierce, quick to laugh and always ready to "go". She enjoyed baking and her favorite foods were pasta Alfredo with shrimp, steak with a loaded baked potato and strawberry milkshakes. She also enjoyed the "soaps" YNR the most. She would have run away with Tom Selleck and never turned down a Mimosa. She and her daughter kept each other's secrets.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Janis Cline Gainous, son Jim Albritton and her husband of 66 years, Sidney Albritton.
She is survived by her brother James Cline (Janice) of Panama City, Florida, sister Dianne Cline Petrey (Bob) of Arcadia, Florida and daughter Cathy Albritton Edwards (Vernon) of Arcadia, Florida. There are also 3 grandchildren, Cole Edwards, Matt Albritton and Megan Albritton as well as bonus granddaughter Kale Wyant Edwards. She also had 5 great grandchildren, Graci, Kalli, Jaxson, Amaya and Riley.
