Mr. Gerald Allen Moore, age 83 and lifelong resident of Arcadia, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Mr. Moore worked as an LPN for many years as nursing staff at G. Pierce Wood Memorial Hospital.

Gerald is survived by a sister, Mary Brown living in Okeechobee, Florida, his two grandchildren, Cassandra Moore and Mitchell Moore and his niece Wendy Moore.

Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Missouri Bates Moore as well as his sons, Burrell A. Moore and Earl Luther Moore. Also, preceding Gerald in death were his brothers, Herbert, Fred and Royce, as well as his sister Juanita and his beloved wife Lois who passed in 2006.

Visitation for Mr. Moore will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave. from 6:00PM – 8:00PM.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00AM in the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, Arcadia.
