Obituary

Mr. George Kendell Knight "Ken", passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. He was born on February 2, 1971, in Lake Wales, Florida to Larry Knight and Pamela Roberts Sellers.

He graduated from Hardee High School in 1989 and worked as a Heavy Hauler for Tucker Paving for 21 years. He loved cooking and making a cooking blog on TikTok. He also enjoyed hauling those heavy loads and spending time with his family.

He will be remembered as a man who loved God and his family and his many friends, his TikTok family and he was an animal lover.

He is survived by his mother, Pam Sellers and father, Larry (Connie) Knight. Also his spouse Heather Messer, sons, Alexander and Andrew Messer, and daughter-in-law Casey Campbell. His brother Kyle Knight and sister Kassie (Justin) Spiker, Tweety. Nephews, Cody (Bailey Spurlock) Knight, Colton and Coy Knight. Ken leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Kendell and Donnell Knight and Maternal Grandparents, George and Myrtle Roberts. Also, his Step-father James Sellers and cousin, Johnny Prestwood.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Go Fund Me Account in his name. Plants are preferred so that they may be planted in his honor, rather than flower arrangements.

There will be a Visitation on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 4:00PM in the Avon Park Community Center, 310 W. Main Street, Avon Park, FL 33825. The Service will follow at 5:00PM with Pastor Duane Porter officiating. Following the service there will be a BBQ dinner in honor of Ken.
