George Wadsworth, Jr., age 58 of Wauchula passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025
surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 7, 1967 in Wauchula, Florida to George
Wadsworth, Sr. and Judy Wadsworth.

George was born and raised in Wauchula and graduated in 1985 from Hardee Senior High.
George was the owner of George Wadsworth Insurance LLC. He was a successful business
owner and a very proud Dad and Papa.

He was a member of First Christian Church of Wauchula, former President of the National
Wildlife Turkey Federation, and a mission supporter of Harvest Aviation Inc. George was also
involved in various community organizations. Spending time with family, hunting, and fishing
were among George's loves. George will always be remembered as a strong-willed, honest,
dependable and loving Christian.

George is survived by his wife Marcella Evangelisti of Orlando. His children are Cassandra
Wadsworth of Wauchula and Carly Wadsworth (Robert Torres) of Wauchula, stepchildren Myla
Rosas of Orlando and Morgan Walters of Brandon. Sister Kelly Moye (Matt) of Winter Haven,
and two grandchildren; Elijah Mendez (10) and Stella Torres (1) along with niece McKenzie
Moye (10) complete George's loving immediate family. George was surrounded by many aunts,
uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Wadsworth and father, George
Wadsworth Sr.

Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church of Wauchula, 1570
W. Main St. The service will follow at 11 AM with Reverend Darin Canary officiating. Graveside
service will follow at Wauchula Cemetery.
