George C Helms Jr., 88, of Wauchula passed away Wednesday, July 5th in Winter Haven, FL.
Born May 31, 1935 to the late Collie & Dorothy Helms in Wauchula.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula and was employed at the United States Postal Service for over 30 years before
retiring in 1992.He enjoyed taking care of his cows with his son, spending time with family and working
at the post office.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Peggy N. Helms.

He is survived by his son David G. Helms (Sabina) of Zolfo Springs, FL and daughter Linda N. Varnadore
(Danny) of Homestead, FL. His grandchildren, Kasey Bockoski (Steve) of Tampa and Chase Varnadore of
Homestead and two great grandsons Maxwell and Miles Bockoski of Tampa.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National MS Society to help find the cure for Multiple
Sclerosis.
