George Edward Cochran, age 85, passed away on Sunday September 24, 2023 at his home in Ona, Florida. He was born on April 4, 1938 in Ona, Florida to the late Ed and Josephine Cochran. George lived in Ona for 85 years where he worked for Carlton Ranch and finally retired.

George was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wauchula. He will be remembered as a good person and a hard worker. He enjoyed hunting and trapping hogs.

He is survived by his children, Ed (Stephanie) Cochran of Bowling Green, Florida and June Cochran of Lakeland, Florida. Also, his sister Doris Freeman of Wauchula, Florida. There are also his beloved Grandson Kevin Cochran of Bowling Green, Florida and great grandson Lane Cochran of Bowling green, Florida.

He was Preceded in death by his wife, Carloyn Cochran of 58 years and his parents, Ed and Josephine Cochran.
