George Arthur Bunce, Sr. age 97, of Arcadia, FL. passed away, April 3, 2008 in Port Charlotte, Fl. George was born Aug. 29, 1910 in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Arcadia for 47 years, moving here from Long Island, NY in 1952. George and his beloved wife, Elsie, moved from Arcadia to Port Charlotte in 1999. George enjoyed fishing and visiting with his friends. He loved spending time with his family. Survivors are his four (4) sons, Paul (Audrey) Bunce, Arcadia, George Bunce, Jr., Ruskin, FL John (Betty) Bunce, Phoenix, AZ., and David (Reba) Bunce, Jeolton, TN. and a daughter Patricia (Wilson) Bunce Pritchett, Pigeon Forge, TN. He leaves 12 grand children and 24 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday, April 4, 2008 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, April 5, 2008 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel with Pastor Ted Stanton officiating.
