Garth Forest Cogswell age 89 of Arcadia passed away July 31, 2011 in Punta Gorda, FL. He was born October 30, 1921 in Veteran, Alberta, Canada and moved to Arcadia in 1979 coming from Milford, Connecticut. Garth attended both the Arcadia Church of the Nazarene and First Christian Church both in Arcadia, FL.. He is survived by two sons Gordon (Robin) Cogswell of Arcadia, Norman (Karen) Cogswell of Cape Coral; one daughter Joanne Cogswell Russ of Ft. Myers; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Garth was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy Cogswell in 2007. A memorial service for Garth will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N Hillsborough Ave. Arcadia, FL with Rev.
