Frank Dixon of Arcadia passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born in Fife, Alabama on June 2, 1946, to Mose Dixon and Sue Freeland Dixon.

Frank was a member of the Moose Lodge, and fraternal order of Orioles. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, football and any kind of sports, talking to his best friend who was like a brother, Terry Floyd. His was employed as a crane operator.

Franks family will remember him as a loving and wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Betty Dixon, children Shannon (Raymond Jr.) Omar, and Frank A. (Jennifer) Dixon. Grandchildren Staci Omar, Courtney Omar, Garrett Omar, Logan Daugherty, Breanna Ray, and Dylan Ray. Great grandchildren Memphis, Maverick Omar, Brinlie Omar, Cheyenne Kersey, Adalee Ray.

Preceded in death by his loving parents Mose and Sue Dixon, brother Carl Dixon and wife Shirley Dixon.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm in the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Arcadia, located at 50 N. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Florida 34266. The service will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Ellis Cross officiating. He will be buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
