Francis Morris Howard, age 89, passed away Friday morning May 17, 2024 in Arcadia, Florida. He was born June 14, 1934 in Arcadia, Florida to Frank J. and Mabel L. Howard.  He graduated from Bradenton High, class of 1952. He was a member of New Day Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from the Department of Corrections. Francis love to sing, watching football and play when he was younger. He enjoyed working in the yard, sailing and riding horses, and loved animals.

He is survived by his loving wife Frances, and daughters Janet Lane, Rhonda Bush, Jennifer Howard, Teresa Nott, Lisa Brown, and Laura Earnest, along with brothers Franklin Howard, and David Howard, and sister June Howard. Francis has 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be May 25, 2024 from 10am-12pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow with Paul Howard officiating. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery at Mt. Ephraim.
