Frances M. Harris, age 84, passed away, June 25, 2011 in Port Charlotte, FL. Frances was born June 24, 1927 in Hillsboro, OH. She moved to Arcadia in 1973 from New Vienna, OH. Frances was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and above all else, she loved taking care of her family and attending to their needs. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors are her son Danny G. (Barbara) Blair, Cincinnati, OH, and daughter, Dorothy M. (Robert) Lawrence, Sr., Arcadia, FL. She also leaves 17 grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Frances is preceded in death by her beloved husband Virgil who passed June 6, 2011, a son Charles Harris, a daughter, Virginia Doyle, her parents, Volaro and Ethel Robbins, two brothers, Donald and Jack Robbins, and a grandson, Stephen Doyle. Visitation will be conducted from 10:00AM until 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, June 30, 2011, at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel with Elder Charles Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
