Felix Gomez, age 69, of Arcadia, FL. passed away at his home, Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Felix was born September 11, 1940 in Rio Verde, San Lois Potosi, Mexico. He moved to Arcadia in 1975 from Texas. Felix was a diesel mechanic, working on cars, trucks, and farm equipment. He was of the catholic faith. Felix is survived by three sons; Bruno (Maria) Gomez, Arcadia, FL., Joel Gomez, Houston, TX. and Felix Gomez, JR., Cape Coral, FL., also five daughters,; Tonya (Alfonso) Cardenas, Ft. Myers, FL., Teresa (Daniel) Cortez, Wauchula, FL., Janie Ireland, Josephine Torres, and Melda (Allen) Douglas all of Cape Coral., FL. He leaves several brothers and sisters in Mexico. Visitation will be held from 6:00 til 8:00PM Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00AM. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at St. Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia, FL. Burial will follow in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
