Obituary

Faye Quetta Brantley 81, of Noma, FL passed away January 26, 2008. She was born July 31, 1926 in Arcadia, FL and lived in Naples and has lived for 15 years in Noma. She retired from DeSoto County High School and enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing. Faye is survived by two sons Sam (Linda) Taylor of Port Charlotte, FL, Terry (Jenny) Brantley of Noma, FL; three sisters Helen (Terry) Hamlet, of Lexington, TN, Gail (Edward) Tyson of Okeechobee, FL, Quetta Litford of Savannah, TN; one sister Lemmurrel Joy Johnson of Arcadia, FL,; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Brantley; her parents Ebenezer and Eva Smith; and one brother Ebby Smith. Visitation will be 1-3PM Saturday, February 02, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 N. Hillsborough Ave, in Arcadia with service beginning at 3:00PM. Services will be rendered by Rev. John Malcolm. Burial will follow in Joshua Creek Cemetery. On line condolences may be made at www.pongerkaysgrady.com.
