Eva V. Westberry, age 100, passed away Jan. 5, 2009, in Arcadia, Fl. Eva was born June 14, 1908 in High springs, Fl. and had lived in Nocatee, Fl. . since 1925, moving here from High Springs. Eva was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She enjoyed sharing her garden harvest with her family and friends. She loved spending quality time with her children and all of her grandchildren. Eva was a member of Nocatee Church of God, where she faithfully served her Lord until her health failed her a few years ago. Survivors are; two son, Kenneth (Carol) Westberry, Arcadia, Fl. and W. R. Buddy (Shirley) Westberry, Nocatee, Fl., two son-in-laws; Doyle Lastinger, Gulf Hammock, Fl. and John Dove, Sebring, Fl.a daughter-in-law Yvonne Westberry, Clewiston, Fl. . Eva is preceded in death by her beloved husband Levi Westberry, 1978, a son, Donald Lee Westberry, two daughters, Veletia Vicky Dove,and Peggy Lastinger. Sixteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and nineteen great great grandchildren, and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Fl. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 from Nocatee Church of God Nocatee, Fl.with Rev. John Spratlin officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia, Fl.
