Eva May Nicholas

Eva May Nicholas, 95, of Arcadia, Florida passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026. Born on June 12 , 1931 to the late Baptiste and Lillan Sulier Diabao in Gananoque, Canada. She loved playing bingo and was a lifelong member of Pine Level Methodist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She especially cherished the time she spent with her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought her immense joy and were truly the light of her life. She was a sweet, gentle, and caring woman who always had a kind word, a warm smile, and a loving heart for those around her. She never hesitated to show her love and compassion, and she had a special way of making others feel welcomed and cared for. Her kindness, devotion to her family, and loving spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ms. Eva is survived by children: Daughters: Donna (CV) Skirvin, Sally (James) Taylor ; Sons: Earl (Joey) Conant, Tommy (Pixie) Conant , Billy (Cathy) Conant , Siblings: Marie (Dee Dee) Heyman, Eddie Diabo, Larry Diabo, James Diabo, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Baptiste Diabo and Lillian Sulier Diabo, along with several siblings: John Diabo, Francis Diabo, Carol Bush, Louise Calhoun, and Shirley Fisher. Stepdaughter: Susan White. Husbands: Clifford "Red" Conant and Lake Nicholas.
