Essey "Mae" Snyder, age 88 passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was born on July 10, 1933, in Cairo, GA to the late Bascom W. and Essie Lang Metcalf.  Mae was a longtime resident of Arcadia and of the protestant faith.

Mae spent her life helping others, she retired from the medical field as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed long walks, working a good puzzle, and gatherings with friends.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hoyt S. Hill, Sr., and Don F. Snyder, one son Hoyt S. Hill, Jr.

She is survived by many life longs friends, especially the Head Family.

Burial will be private in Oakridge Cemetery, Arcadia
