Emma Gomez De Perez age 59 passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. Emma was born in Santas Marias Michoacan, Mexico on April 4, 1964.

She had lived in the community for 30 years and was formerly employed by the Hardee County School Board for 14 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

She enjoyed gardening, knitting embroidery work and especially spending time with her loved ones. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband Rafael Perez Arreola as well as her children, Sonia Perez (Rodrigo Rubio), Lorena Perez (Jose Manuel Rubio), George Perez, and Tony Perez. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Onesimo Gomez Zambrano, Maria Gomez Zambrano, Maria Eugenia Gomez Zambrano, Yolanda Gomez Zambrano and Gilberto Gomez Zambrano. She also has 9 grandchildren, Adriana Perez, Carlos Rubio, Isaac Rubio, Ximena Rubio, Alexander Rubio-Perez, Daniel Rubio-Perez, Jasmine Rubio-Perez, Allison Perez and Abigail Perez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Maria Ricarda Gomez Zambrano, Olga Gomez Zambrano, Patricia Gomez Zambrano, and Virginia Zambrano Villa.

Visitation Friday August 25, 2023 from 5:00-7:00PM at Ponger-Kays Grady Chapel, 205 N. 9th Avenue Wauchula, Fl.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Saturday August 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Saint Michaels Catholic Church, 408 Heard Bridge Road Wauchula, Florida.

Burial will follow at Wauchula City Cemetery.
