Emilia Carballo de Salazar, age 42, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born February 17, 1967 in Madero, Mexico. Emilia moved to Arcadia, Fl. 21 years ago from Mexico. She was a member of St. Paul s Catholic Church of Arcadia, FL. Survivors include her beloved husband, Jose Cruz Salazar, Sr., of Arcadia, Fl., one son Jose Cruz Salazar, Jr., of Arcadia, FL., three daughters, twins Maria A. and Emilia N. Salazar of Arcadia and Yasmin J. Salazar of Arcadia., one brother Jose Teodora Carballo of Mexico and four sisters, Beatriz Sanchez, Paty Carballo, Beatriz Carballo and Gema D. Carballo all of Mexico. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, July 12, 2009 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:00AM at St. Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia. Interment will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
