Eloy M. Ochoa, age 52, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2022, in Sarasota, FL. He was born on December 19, 1969, to Adan Ochoa & Alicia Medina Maldonado in La Lagunilla Quitupan, Mexico. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia.

Eloy has lived here in Arcadia for the last 47 years. He was the owner of Ochoa Underground Cable, Inc. His greatest accomplishment was his three children. His hobbies and interest were watching movies, listening to music, learning about history, and cultures. Eloy loved house projects, mechanical work, electrical work, raising his livestock, but most of all telling his stories.

He will be remembered by his family as a man who put others before himself, compassionate, kind funny and loving.

He is survived by his loving wife Irene Ochoa of Arcadia, FL; three sons Eloy Ochoa, Jr. of Arcadia, FL.; Steven Ochoa of Gainesville, FL and Brain Ochoa of Arcadia, FL.; one brother Luis Manuel Ochoa. Eloy is preceded in death by his father Adan Ochoa.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Florida 34266 .

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
