Elizabeth "Betty" Rosalee Abbott, Age 95, of Ft. Green, FL, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. She was born on December 24, 1925, to the late Frank Getchell and Mamie Poulin.

Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of Ft. Green, FL, and a member of Ft. Green Baptist Church. She received her degree in nursing which she continued until retiring. Elizabeth was a Pink Lady at Hardee Memorial Hospital and a Rosie Riveter in WWII. She enjoyed being active in her community as well as volunteering, shopping, reading, and baking wonderful pound cakes.

Her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. Her family will always remember her as a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband A.E. Abbott, Jr., grandson Rufus Sasser, great-grandsons Chris Reid, Christian Martinez, and son-in-law Ronnie "Punk" Albritton.

She is survived by her two children; Margie Albritton, Bud Abbott (Connie Abbott) of Ft. Green, grandchildren, Stephanie Reid (Scott Reid), Tisha Bostick, John Burdeshaw (Tanya Burdeshaw), Ashlee Harrison (Jamie Harrison), greatgrandchildren; Amber Naranjo (Adam Naranjo), Garratt Bostick, Hunter Reid, Savannah Burdeshaw, Ashlynn Burdeshaw, Wyatt Burdeshaw, Tyson Burdeshaw, Colby Harrison, Gracelyn Harrison and an extended list of great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Ft. Green Baptist Church with graveside services to follow at 4:00 pm.
