Edward Womack, age 82, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Arcadia. He was born March 4, 1928 in La Porte, IN. He moved to Arcadia in 1982 from New York State. Edward was of the Protestant faith. Edward worked as a custodian for the Sarasota County School Board and served our Great Nation in the United States Army. He is survived by four nieces; Virginia Petty, Doris Ann Powell, Donna A. Lowery and Karen Daly. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 1:30PM at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, FL. with military honors presented by the US Army Honor Guard.
