Edith Edel Lastinger, 80 of Arcadia went to see her Lord on March 28, 2008. She was born on March 18, 1928 in Punta Gorda, FL. The daughter of Edna Francis & James Christopher Lastinger. She is the forever loved mother of 3 daughters Rose Arndt of Venice, FL, Juanita Edenfeild of Ft. Myers, FL, and Connie (Daryl) DeFehr of Roseville, CA. 5 sons Harry, Jack, & Johnny Tucker of Arcadia, FL, Loyd (Betty) Tucker of Crestview, FL and Anthony (Marie) Tucker of Cairo, GA. She was the grandmother of 24 blessed grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Dorothy Mixon, one brother Doyle Lastinger and many nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord & her Pastor Ken Galloway of New Day Baptist Church where she was a member. She was welcomed to heaven by her parents, husband Gordon, brothers Allie and Buck, daughter-in-law, Katie, son-in-law, Bill; & nephew Roy. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel.
