Obituary

Earlene Barnard Easlick Waters, 85 went home to be with her Lord on November 14, 2010, at her home with her sister and brother at her side. She was born in Jesup, GA on May 30, 1925, and moved to Lakeland at a very early age. Earlene retired from Food Machinery Corp. in the 1970 s and moved to Texas for a short time. Upon her return to Lakeland, she owned The Little Caboose children s store. She was in the retail grocery business as well as steel fabricating business. She was an avid reader and bowler until her health declined. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 26, Lakeland. She is survived by her sister; Geri (Bill) Gibbons, brother; William Thomas Barnard, both of Lakeland. Nieces; Debbie Crews, Dianne (Charles) Livingston of Arcadia, FL., Gerilyn Brannan of Sebring, FL; nephews Jimmie (Rene) David Barnard, Jr. of Arcadia, Kevin R. Barnard of Lakeland and James E. Brannan, Jr. of Orange Park, FL. Great Nieces; Brenna (George) Braczko, Beth Barnard, Stephanie Brannan, Samantha Brannan, Madison Brannan. Great Great nephew Dillion Barnard. Her loving friends and caregiver Francine N. Jackson and Lucille Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Colline Barnard, brothers E.W. Barnard, Jr., Raymond E. Barnard, Jimmie D. Barnard and Richard H. Barnard. A visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2010 from 1:00 until 2:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.
