Dustin Tait Langfang, 18 of Arcadia Florida, left his sickness and wheelchair behind, Saturday September 18, 2010 and went home to be with his Heavenly Father. Dustin was born May 26th, 1992 in Arcadia Florida. His battle with leukemia over a four- year period was that of a mighty warrior. He pressed on to the end and fought the good fight of faith. He loved the community for their unfailing support as well as the staff of 7 South of All Children s Hospital and the Nurses of the Hematology and Infusion Clinics. Dustin s love for his Savior crossed all boundaries in religion, race, profession and finance. His gratefulness to everyone s love and support exceeds beyond words. When the cancer took his ability to walk late last year, Dustin spoke of the opportunity to slow down and see the handy-work of God. He loved football, Desoto Bulldogs, Florida Gators, Hunting, collecting, his cows, and his dog D artagnan. Dustin is survived by his parents, Gary and Lori Langfang of Arcadia, one sister, Kari (Ryan) Crites of Orlando; two brothers, Andrew Crites of Tallahassee, and Jacob Langfang of Arcadia; paternal grandparent Joyce Langfang of Arcadia; maternal grandparents, Linda Larson of Arcadia and William F. Larson of Sarasota; great-grandparents Don and Mary Milton of Arcadia and Ruth DeVaughn of Georgia. Uncles and Aunts, Bryan and Anna (Langfang) Beswick of Arcadia, Kenny and Dawn Adkins of Bradenton; Scott and Sally Langfang of Arcadia; Kevin and Dina Larson of Bradenton; David and Michelle Larson of Panama City Fl. Many cousins, friends, and one special niece, Isabella. A celebration service will be held for Dustin at the Desoto County High School on Wednesday September 22, 2010 at 6:30 pm.
