Obituary

Dorothy Lorraine Reese, age 86, passed away Tuesday November 14, 2023. At home in Brandon, Florida. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on February 4, 1937.  Dorothy graduated in 1955 from Hamilton High School. She was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, in Brandon, Florida.  She worked as a legal secretary.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great grandson Reese. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and sister.

Dorothy is survived by her husband George W. Reese III, sons, George Reese IV from lake Placid, Florida, and Mark Reese, from Brandon, Florida, brothers Tom Agans, Bob Agans, and Dick Agans, granddaughters, Melisa Smith and Cheyenne Reese, and great grandson Reese Smith.

Preceded in death is her father Donald Agans, brother Donald Agans Jr., Charles Agans, and sister Suzanne Stanford.

Visitation is Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:00-11:00am at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel in Wauchula, Florida. Services to follow at 11:00am. The burial will be at Wauchula City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
