Dorothy Hill, age 89, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Arcadia Florida. She was born May 28, 1935, in Staunton, VA to Walter Rankin and Bertie Campbell. Dorothy was a member of Fort Ogden Baptist Church. She enjoyed square dancing, clogging, loving mother and wife to both of her husbands Earl and Jesse Herring, and very devoted to her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her children Cindy (Roy) Winfrey of Arcadia, and Earl (Theresa) Hill of Arcadia, Florida, grandchildren Darren (Judy) Winfrey, of Arcadia, Florida, Pamela (Matthew) Albritton of Fort White Florida, Christina Hill of North Port, Florida, and Trey Hill, of Sarasota, Florida, and great grandchildren Tristan Winfrey, Briley Winfrey, Cade Winfrey, Rowan Albritton, Henry Albritton.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10am at Fort Ogden Baptist Church, and the service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at Joshua Creek Cemetery, with Reverend Wayne Earnest officiating.
