Dorothy Fay Hill, age 89, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Port Charlotte, FL.  Dorothy was a lifelong resident of DeSoto County, Florida having been born in the small town of Nocatee, FL.   She was the daughter of the late James Clayton "JC" and Alice Bell Alley.

Dorothy was a homemaker and member of The New Life Worship Center, Brownsville, Florida.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, listening to Christian programs on TV, shopping, and spending quality time with her family.

Survivors are her four sons, William Wade (Abby) Hill Lake City, Florida, Don (Angie) Hill, Port Charlotte, Florida, and Wayne (Margaret) Hill, of Arcadia, Florida, and Tommy (Rhonda) Fortson of Whitefish, Montana, one sister, Katheryn Waters, of Arcadia, Florida and eleven (11) grandchildren and nine (9) great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Paul Hill and a son Kenneth Hill and a daughter, Barbara Blondell, her parents, and three brothers, Bernice Alley, Harold Alley, and Lynn Alley.

Visitation will be conducted from 10:00am until 11:00am, Saturday, February 25, 2023, from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, Funeral services will follow at 11:00am with Reverend Diane Everhart officiating.
