Dorothy T. Erickson, age 92, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Port Charlotte. She was born April 7, 1918 in Arcadia, Fl and a lifetime resident. Dorothy was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed nature and especially like to garden in her yard. Dorothy also had a passion for reading many kinds of subject matter. She is survived by three sons; Paul M.(Bobbie) Erickson of Arcadia, FL, Robert A.(Sheila) Erickson of Dallas, TX and Roy "David"(Rebecca) Erickson of Lake City, FL., one sister; Carolyn J.(Oscar) Sanchez of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation will be Friday, April 23, 2010 from 1:00 until 2:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00PM at the chapel with Brother C. Robert Guard and Gary Burford officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Arcadia.
