Doris R. Glynn, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 in Sarasota, Fl. surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born March 5, 1921 in Union City, New Jersey. She moved to Miami, FL from New Jersey and worked as a financial secretary for Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, retiring after 30 years of faithful service. Doris also worked long enough to retire from Yardley Soap Company and The Colgate Corporation. Doris was of the Catholic faith and a member of St Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia. She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Arbo of Arcadia, FL; two grandchildren Jason Corcoran of Stewart, FL. and Heather Corcoran of Arcadia, FL.; four great grandchildren Austin Corcoran, Brandon Smith, Tai Corcoran and Jessica Corcoran. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. A Mass of the Christian burial will be Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at St Paul s Catholic Church at 1:00PM followed by interment at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
