Donald Bashore age 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was born March 14, 1940, to David Westley Bashore and Florence Henry Bashore, in Sidney, Ohio.

He worked for Bridge Construction and has lived in this area since 1992 coming from Thomas, Oklahoma. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Arcadia.

He loved fishing and watching NASCAR racing and Westerns on TV. He also loved spending quality time with Mary Bashore his beloved wife before her passing in 2017, as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren and close friend and caregiver Lakeshia Nesmith.
He is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Bashore; sister, Patricia Zook; brothers Robert Bashore, James Bashore and grandson, Calvin Bashore.
He is survived by sons, Mark (Denise) Bashore of Arcadia, Florida, daughters Jo Ann (Tim)Westberry of Arcadia, Florida, Laurie (Douglas) Carson of Sidney, Ohio and Donna (Mark)Dunham, of Tampa, Florida.

His grandchildren are Michael (Ryan)Bashore, Cory Bashore, Tasha Steiner, Michael Thomas Jr., Scott (Elizabeth) Thomas, Rosemary Thomas, Amy Bashore, Chelsey Bashore, Corey Young, Dustin White, and Michael Bowers.

His great grandchildren include; Scott Thomas Jr., Isabella Thomas, Da' Siya Watson, Da' Mariah Watson, Jase Doyle, Tucker Doyle, Caylee Bashore, Chloe Bashore, Brantley Allen Young, Leah Marie Weaver, Lucas Jeffrey Elliott, Zoey Ann Marie Elliott.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Trinity Methodist Church on February 5th at 2pm. Pastor Louie Mabrey will be officiating.
