William Evans Davis, age 85, died Sunday August 11, 2013 surrounded by his loving family in Port Charlotte, Fl. He was born September 23, 1927 in Hartford, Conn. and moved to Arcadia seven years ago from Punta Gorda. He was of the Jehovah Witness faith and a member of Kingdom Hall in Arcadia. William was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family immensely. He was known by all as Mr. Fix it , he loved to repair anything and everything for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eleanor S. Davis of Arcadia, Fl. , two sons Robert W. (Debbie) Davis of Punta Gorda, Fl. and William A.(Gail) Davis of Fort Myers, Fl., two daughters Diane E.(Ronny) Jones of Arcadia, Fl. and Judyann (Raymond) Bindas of Lehigh Acres, Fl., ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold S. and Lillian Glazer Davis. Memorial Services and a Celebration of William s life will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 3:00PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1605 E. Maple St., Arcadia with Martin A.
