Wilbur H Grant, 90, died Monday, June 3, 2013 at his home with his three daughters at his side. Wilbur was born March 13, 1923 in St Augustine, Fl and lived in Arcadia for 50 years moving from West Hollywood, Florida in 1963. Wilbur was a dairyman, cattle rancher, an aerobatic pilot and flight instructor. He always used to say the most important accomplishment in his life was his 3 girls. Wilbur is survived by his daughters, Charlotte (Ronnie) Allen, Nancy Grant, Robin (Ted) Ivansek, all of Arcadia, a sister Elizabeth Broome of North Carolina; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Bajsa, Eddie Allen, Kevin (Naomi), Chris (Nadia), Ben(Alicia), and Maria Daughtrey, Rob(April) Hulett, Kyle and April Morley; and 11 great-grandchildren. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence Playford and Aileen Wade Grant, 3 sisters and 7 brothers. A private family service is being planned.
